Day porters who keep an open building presentable

A porter on site during your working hours, checking restrooms, resetting entrances and dealing with spills before anyone has to ask.

Bright building corridor during the working day

The standard on every contract

  • Unannounced walkthroughs

A supervisor walks your building at random, scores it against the written scope and sends you the score with photos.

  • A person answers

The office line reaches a person during office hours, and field supervisors carry phones on every shift.

  • Fixed the same night

Issues are logged when they happen and put right before the next shift, with a note to you.

  • A written scope

Every task by area and frequency, agreed before the first shift. You keep a copy and the crew carries one.

What is included

What a day porter covers

A day porter works to a route and a checklist written for your building, repeating the rounds that matter most while people are in it.

  • Restroom checks on a set route: restock, wipe down, floors spot cleaned
  • Entrance glass, mats and lobby floors kept clean through the day
  • Spill response and wet-floor signage
  • Breakroom resets after peak times
  • Conference and meeting room turnovers between bookings
  • Waste consolidation from high-traffic areas
  1. 01

A route, not a roaming cleaner

The porter works a timed route through your restrooms, entrances and shared spaces, logged as each round is done. You can see when every area was last checked, and the route is adjusted as your busy times become clear.

  2. 02

    Working alongside your team

Porters are briefed on your site, your tenants or staff and any areas that are off limits. They are visible, quiet and easy to reach, and they know who to call when something needs maintenance rather than cleaning.

  3. 03

    Paired with the night crew

Day porter work and nightly janitorial run from the same scope, so nothing is done twice and nothing falls between the two. The night crew handles the deep work; the porter keeps it looking that way through the day.

Questions

Day Porter Services questions

What hours does a day porter work?

The hours your building needs. Some sites need a porter across the whole working day, others only through the morning rush and lunch. The hours are set in the scope after the walkthrough.

Can a porter cover more than one building?

For property managers with buildings close together, a porter can work a route across more than one property. The walkthrough tells us whether the distances and traffic make that practical.

Is day porter service separate from janitorial?

It can be bought on its own, but most buildings pair it with nightly janitorial under one scope, so the two crews work to the same standard.
